On the bottle:
To commemorate EWEB's 100th Anniversary of providing healthy, clean water, all Ninkasi profits from this beer go to support the McKenzie River Trust.

Tasting Notes:
This session ale is to promote the water we are so lucky to use. The beer is sweeter than many of our beers. It has a sweet clean slightly bready malt flavor. It is medium light bodied. There is a very pleasant subtle noble hop flavor and aroma of tea and earthy notes that still come through because of the simplicity of the malt flavor. It is really all about the water!

Food Pairings:
Most foods will pair well with this beer as it is so light and unassuming in its own right. Only foods that are equally light in flavor should be avoided as the sum of the parts may underwhelm the palate. All meats, spicy foods, cheeses and desserts are great.

Why Ninkasi? The ancient Sumerians worshipped the beer they made, and praised the Goddess Ninkasi for the miracle of fermentation. Beer is a staple of civilization. Worship the Goddess.
